Communication is usually over email or even a private forum.  Many of my clients communicate with me daily.  Constant communication is key to our success.  No question is a bad question and I am always available.  I enjoy helping others reach their goals.  From a homemaker wanting to lose some bodyfat to an elite bodybuilder preparing for an event.  I can help you achieve your goals.  If you have any questions feel free to comment.

Ok this is shocking....but I have a question  Undecided   Wink

What are other things besides sit-ups to tighten your stomach??  And your (my) sides??  Also, are you supposed to go part way up from the floor?  I had a gym teacher in school say that...she totally confused me which way is right (she also believed in pyramid power (not a Christian)...she was a strange one for sure)  So needless to say, to young minds...she had us confused in more ways than one  Wink

See..now if I can ask that...anyone can ask a question.

Ali, I like just standard crunches
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/2002/crunches1.jpg

I wouldn't do any side crunches.  You really work those areas with a standard crunch.  Remember you can't spot reduce.  So doing a 1000 crunches per day is probably over kill.  A combined effort of cardio, strength and diet is what will reduce that bodyfat around the middle.

Michael..Michael..Michael..

Oh, you held the 0 key down too long...you don't REALLY mean 1,000...ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, this is the second time my jaw hit the floor!  First time..seeing you post my journal  Wink

I have never seen that *standard crunch* (serious now)...and you know, I think I will go do those..my couch or the arm is high enough....I will get back with you on the ah..um..1,000..

The diet is under control and my diet pop, I would say cut in half.  I did what you suggested and replaced it with tea..and that is starting to sound better than the pop....finally!

The cardio..well, if you saw my yard that I am about to mow a/k/a brush hog...I think I will be getting that in too~

I was totally kidding about the 10000 crunches but you wouldn't believe how many folks think if they do a ton of crunches it will somehow give them a six pack.  I hear ya on the yard.  My yard isn't too big but it does take an hour to mow.  I call that cardio  Wink

Ali, that diet pop thing is hard.  I tell you I have had such a time with it myself.  Lately I have been drinking about 1 every other day.  I had totally cut it out but this ear deal has me in a funk.  Tea does help and try green tea.  I am not sure if green tea really is that good for you or any better than regular tea but it does have much less caffeine.

Now 10000, instead of 1000....you're a mean coach!!..... ha ha ha...

Not to get off topic...but going to for a second...

I got a call from my best friend, they eliminated her position but not sure about her employment.  I went to be with her tonight.  So, not an excuse but she needed me more than me working out.  She used to be a weight lifter and boxer (one strong..5'2 girl)...so I hope she gets a computer, she would love your site.  Plus, don't we all need to get a distraction now days??...(from what is going on in this world).

I will stop there cuz I have a feeling, my opinions are about as strong as yours...and well, this is for training so I am putting a muzzle on it  Lips sealed

So sorry to hear about your friend losing her job.  I have a friend who lost his as well.  Right now might be a good time for some to start a small business of their own.  Even with the economy in a mess.  No job is secure and I think if folks could find something they could do from home or with very little overhead who knows they might build something that would be secure.  Even doing this part time.  I don't know everyones situation but I am an entrepeneur and slighly a risk taker.

I wanted to take some time to discuss a couple things that make online coaching a HUGE success.  1) You must communicate with me often, like at least 3 times per week.  You must let me in on what is going on in every facet of your training and nutrition.  If you have having some joint issues or something doesn't feel right you must let me know.  I can't help if I don't know whats going on.   Feel free to ask me any thing you have questions on.  I truly am very available.  I always answer emails within hours of receiving them.

This service is awesome.  It really does work very will but it is up to your commitment to communicate with me often.

Have a Great Day,
Michael

By the way I have a great group of online clients.  They send me emails often and I can manage them well.  I think we will have a great fall in our upcoming shows.  Sure to have some successful clients.  My current clients are so motivated to diet and train I am just amazed.  Thanks guys and gals.  You guys are the best.  Now get after it.  Michael

FYI
If you are wanting my help for the fall shows you need to let me know asap.  I will not train you for 12 weeks prior to an event.  I work on a minimum of six months.  That is it takes that long to get you in a position to win.  So if you are interested  shoot me an email.  Mt

Online coaching clients please do the following:
Email me frequently so I know what is going on to adequately help.
Don't make me chase you down because I probably will forget. Your responsibility is to stay in constant contact so I can do what you have hired me to do. If you don't make an effort to stay in touch with me you severely limit what I can do for you. Be a good client and send me frequent info often multiple times per week. Give me the opportunity to help you to the fullest.
